All our pre-owned are all petrol engine, and most, will have been sold new by us, so we have the full history of each ATV we are selling.

Warranty – most of our Utility ATV’s will have a full 12 months warranty, subject to terms and conditions. Any warranty issued, is a return to base warranty.

All warranties are providing in writing at point of purchase, and will be agreed with you in writing.

All Sports models sold – do not have any warranty, due to their intend usage.

Age of ATV’s – Unlike car dealers, who have what’s called in the trade “Glass’s Guide” the ATV industry does not work the same way and does not have such a guide. Therefore you will find that dealers will valve the same model totally differently, so, no two dealers will have the same price for the same model.

Reasons ? we will try to explain.

Every ATV owner, will use their ATV for different uses, some use it all day, every day, some use it for just a few hours a week. Some customers, regularly maintain their ATV and keep it in good condition, so that it has a re-sale value. Other’s will see the ATV as a work tool, never clean it, service it, and change it only when it fails to start. We may have two models which are the same model, and age, but due to usage, will have two different prices, even though they were sold at similar times. So we never price our models on age, but always on condition, usage and service history.

We hope that this gives you an idea of how we arrive at our prices.

Payment terms: We regret that we can only accept the following payment method for any ATV sold. Bank Transfer/Cash/Bankers Draft.

We regret that we do not accept credit card or Paypal payments for the purchase of new or second hand ATV’s. Due to credit card/Paypal handling charges.

WHAT NOT TO BUY ON EBAY & WHY TO BUY WITH NICK DAVIES

Last week we had a call from a customer who had just purchased this used ATV from a seller on EBay. The new owner wanted a new exhaust and seat cover, so far so good, we thought.

However, with the details that the customer gave us, we knew that the model could not be a 1999 model.

Upon more details, and the customer supplying the following picture and a description, we worked out that the unit was at least 6 – 7 years older than described and sold.

It was also advertised as fully serviced, which could not have been the case, if the customer had spent £400.00 on it, then why did they not replace the exhaust ?

The front fender (plastic) is certainly not standard, and has been custom made, (perhaps a new use for left over roofing felt) A new seat cover and exhaust will cost the customer at least £200.00 + VAT + fitting.

The customer has now advised that having looked under the front fender, since we advised that this was not a normal plastic, and it appears that the ATV has front end damage.

The customer has given their permission for us to use this story, to point out that when buying an ATV on EBay, ours my look expensive, but they are 100% genuine, serviced, reconditioned (where applicable) and have a warranty, unless otherwise advised and are worth every penny.

We understand that buyers will always want cheap deals, but this customer has just wasted £1200.00 + delivery. As dealers, if we took in the ATV that this customer purchased it would be worth no more than £500.00 to us as breaker for spare parts, some dealers would maybe only offer a few hundred pounds to the customer.
